Where the data comes from

Every figure on Top Markets is derived from the live review corpus. Company profiles carry an average rating, a review count and a one-to-five breakdown. Category directories group companies by their listed sector, and the best-of pages re-rank those companies by evidence.

How the best-of lists are ranked

Each best-of page shows two lists. The first ranks by average user rating. The second ranks by the number of published reviews. Presenting both prevents a single high score from a tiny sample from dominating the page. The best forex brokers, best CFD brokers and best crypto platforms pages all follow this rule.

Why each entry ranks

The why it ranks line on every best-of entry is generated from the topics that a company's own reviewers mention most, counted across its review text. It reports what users discuss, such as platform usability or customer support, and does not add praise that the reviews do not support.

What is not verified

Top Markets does not verify company licences, regulatory status, fees or ownership. Those details, where shown, are user-submitted or taken from the company website. Readers should confirm regulatory authorisation directly with the relevant financial authority before depositing funds.

Limits of the data

User reviews reflect the experience of the people who chose to post. Review volume varies widely between companies, and a small sample can move an average sharply. The lists are a starting point for research, not a recommendation, and trading carries risk of loss.

Corrections

Errors can be reported through the contact page. Reviews are moderated under the review guidelines and content moderation policy, and scores are recalculated whenever the underlying reviews change.
